"Notice of cancellation of performance at Yokohama Bay Hall

We have received notice today from Morrissey that he has judged there to be difficulties with fully providing the staging that the artist himself would wish for. We had been in negotiation with Morrissey in order that we might somehow fulfil his wishes regarding changes to equipment such as the usage of videos and instrumentation, but due to Morrissey's strong desire that the concert cannot take place if everything is not exactly in place, we have been forced to cancel this show. We deeply regret the inconvenience caused to all the fans who were looking forward to the concert. We also apologise that this announcement comes at such late notice.

"Heartaches, heartaches, My loving you meant only heartaches" For those getting refunds. :tears: His performances have been top shelf.

NOOOO.... It can´t be true :drama:
What exaclty do they mean by "logistical issues"?

L O L  !
Just as I called it in an earlier post* (see below) Silly Steven has bitten off more than he can chew.
Diesel ! Call for Dr Jeremy quickly !

Logistics my arse :drama:

*Entirely his own stupid fault, all sympathy goes to the poor audience who got a lower than normal below par performance. Wouldn't be at all surprised if the true to nobody webshite announces that a lawnmower part is suddenly critically ill with with a bruised big toe.
Should have taken more time to acclimatise and get used to the local 5* cheese, dairy and sushi.
Look on the bright side though ! At least the pop up shop can keep popping up ¥ching, ¥ching !
Can Dr Jeremy Fine make him fine again but obviously not in the gossamer way ?
Will he patch his chest up with fake blood patches ?

Watch this space people :tiphat: this could be the funniest routine that Silly Steven the clown has ever performed ! ! !
Oh yes it could !

Geez, feel sorry for all the fans.
A rescheduled date seems impossible as this option wasn't mentioned. :(

logistics in the sense of unallocated allocated tix sales.:tiphat:

or, 'we couldnt find a video angle that would avoid showing empty areas.":censored:

^^^This must be a new one in his list of excuses.^^^

10 out of 10 for creativity.

Surely the tour manager cases the venues prior to lugging equipment to the other side of the world to check they're suitable for Morrissdy's stage show. Which consists of some pictures, a projector, a rudimentary light show and 5 musicians. It's not that extravagant a stage show

But it was announced it was sold out!
Are you assuming the venue or ticket company would lie about that and agreed with Moz to do so?

So if they are not able to do so and until now other venues could, maybe it was right to cancel?

Try taking a wider view. At the very least, this is appalling tour management. Why book a venue, crow about it being sold out, then find out they are not able to fulfil the 'artist's' wishes?

You are right off course about appalling tour management. And Morrissey as the boss is the first for being responsible to dissapoint his fans.
I am not sure what you mean by crow about it being sold out.
How does he know it's sold out? He gets informed by the ticketburo? And than states on tty it's sold out. Just information shared. Off course he is proud about that.
Could it really be Uncleskinny, Moz and ticketburo and or venue have agreed on the sold out statement and they knew they were lying? I am just asking, not suggesting anything.
Thanks for the translated info about the statement.
Cheers

How ridiculous. Go onstage, play, and forget about the silly projections. All of the best shows Ive seen from him have been with a single backdrop, or none at all. Maybe he needs something to distract?
