Thanks for that, really interesting.

For those who can't be bothered to listen, there's not a lot on Morrissey other than an explanation that "Tormentor" is something a critic called Morrissey so he decided to adopt it.

Also, he is not very flattering about Morricone's personality who was a bit of a contrary bugger when Visconti tried to suggest a change in his arrangement.

i would say "at least he acknowledges it" but he's probably having a laugh by using it.

Yeah, good luck with that. Morricone's old, italian, and has scored zillions of movies. i'm sure that culminates into a brew of cheerful acceptance of what the whipper-snappers have to say.
