quote from 'the australian':

" So encouraged was he by the success of that project that he immediately embarked on another, a novel that is now completed and awaiting publication, although he won’t be drawn on its subject matter. “It is finished and is, I think, unconnected to anything I’ve ever written or said previously,” he says. “That certainly makes a change, doesn’t it?” "

{thanks to mr. iain shedden}

1. will morrissey surprise us with the subject of the novel?

or

2. he'll enhance the world of literature with brand-new genre?

what do you think?

might be about family relations or a david copperfield type story. im gonna guess at a family divided by some issue. just a guess

I instantly thought about a crime novel. Don't know why.

Hamsters. On Jupiter.

But one of the hamsters is called Alastair, and is gay.

That was suggested by Russell Brand though. Not Morrissey's idea at all.

Groundbreaking stuff. A little step for a rodent etc. Published by PENGUIN.
"Who else?" :D

who would read such content, even with signature of pope or k. kardashian?

next?

my first thought outside of subject is period. do you guys think moz will write a book set in the now or in his fav decade. itd be more interesting to see his take and facsimile of modern times rather than the past remembered

I'm seeking this words in My mind: collage, the eighties, love triangel, pressure from family member, wanting to escape, escaping, Finding nothing there and suicide

Or something like "tuesdays with morrie" tuesdays with Morrissey :)

sounds more like morrisseys on the road except he doesn't end up in the desert. to me those topics have been touched on way to many times for him to say its mostly unrelated to subjects he already written about which I would think include being homosexual and suicide. charming man asleep etc

it might have a non speaking gay minor character that people comment on for the socialist aspect but I don't think it will just because that's so identified with him and he said this books subject was not something he wrote about and I believe him since that would just be a glaring contradiction that I don't think hed make, not about this.

Seeking?! Jeez i'm stupid

Like token from south park. His name token black, laughed my ass off when i saw that

not even that involved. I don't think the characters will be gay men but I do think they might be out walking and see a guy known to be and make the social comment about sexuality and the times. hes always been very social in that way. an observer
