Saturday 12th December - Putney, The Half Moon
Given the sad news that (barring a reprieve) the venue will close in February, with a heavy heart we write that this will be our last ever gig at what was the scene of our first show back in 2004.
Almost every show has been a sell-out and this being the last, a full-house is almost certain., so advance booking is STRONGLY ADVISED. As of 8/12/09 200 tickets have sold which means that just 10 tickets remain.
The band will play two sets.
£10 .00 http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user/?reg...rface=halfmoon

9/12/09: Updated to show that just 3 tickets remain for Putney.
Thanks to everyone who has bought tickets. If you haven't yet and wish to come, we expect the show to sell-out today so please book asap to avoid disappointment.

Tomorrow's Putney show is now sold out. Thank you to everyone who's coming along. We'll make it one 'ell of a night for you!

Graham.

Good Evening West 'am!
Amazing set last night - Paris was fantastic and no room for How Soon Is Now!

Cheers Graham and everyone who was there, fingers crossed it's not the last one.

Thank you to everyone who came to the sold out show on Saturday. Hopefully it won't be the last at the venue - that decision is still to be made public - for now we have published the next planned gig at the Half Moon (Friday April 9th). Fingers crossed we'll all be there again. If Saturday was the Putney swansong, boy, what a night we had.

Kilburn on Saturday - more of the same!

So that's 2009 dine and dusted for The Smyths. A thousand thanks to the thousands who came to the shows this year - it was great to end the year with another sell-out show at The Good Ship and it's a safe bet to say that we'll
be back there for our Christmas 2010 show.

Our programme of gigs for 2010 begins on January 9th at Feeling Gloomy and is followed by a succession of shows all over the country through to the Summer.

Have a great Christmas and New Year!

Graham
