~ The 'All things CATS' thread ~

That is Myrtle's mom, not Myrtle. And yes he is very sweet with them.

Yeah, the drawers...my girlfriend thought it would be good to mod-podge old book pages over the surface...I think it's really tacky and pretentious.

If I wanna read Sherlock Holmes, I don't wanna do it while I'm looking for underwear.

Wait. Whuuuuuut???!!!? Skylarker? Now I'm confuzd. :squiffy: Eff this insanity, I'm going to bed. (Your boy looks sweet, btw.)

My cat killed a mouse this evening, and then proceeded to chew it just a few times before swallowing it, virtually whole. It was so disgusting and it made me a tiny bit proud.

Kitty is my absolute world! I even put a photograph of her on Wikipedia under 'bicolour cat' as an example of a tuxedo coat. She has multiple names, Poopy is one of them: how cute is that?

So where I live there is no yard and I have to take my dog for several walks a day to do his business. Normally there is a neighborhood cat, not sure where he lives exactly, but he seems to be getting fed and is always content, doesn't have a collar and is kinda dirty, I'm assuming he's an outdoor cat. He spends a lot of time in our driveway under the cars. So one of my dogs most favorite thing to do upon exiting the house for a walk, especially at night, is to madly search under the cars to sniff out the napping cat. The cat is cordial with the dog, he's not afraid, he doesn't run, but they're not besties by any stretch, he puts up with Barney trying to sniff his butt while I pet him. So both my dog and I have been gone for two weeks and returned home today. This afternoon we took our first walk and three houses down comes RUNNING FULL SPEED MEOWING out of the bushes, our neighbor cat. Even Barney was like 'What the...?? :squiffy:" He recognized us, he was saying hi! He followed for a few houses and plopped down in the street like he does. He did it again tonight in our driveway, "HEY GUYS! MEOW, MEOW, MEOW, MEOW!!!!!!!!!" It was hilarious. I took a pic. He's taking a new approach with Barney and being the aggressor. :D

Here he's trying to rub his face on my hand while I try to take his picture. He's a total ham. I'm sort of dying to know what his name is. :p

We had a kitten nicknamed Poopy at one time, but I hope your reason for calling her that isn't the same as ours...

That's too damn funny! The reason is likely the same, however disgustingly! She's a naughty girl in more ways than one, but I do not love her any less for being a wee hooligan!

My three feline charges until Friday.

Cats that find habitation in households forever prone to resurrecting delicious Morrissey anthems, must be the utter best. True gems you'd be unlikely to find elsewhere, in Beiber-influenced environments: in all their monstrosity.

A cat ran onto the pitch at Anfield tonight during the Liverpool-Tottenham game. The furry hooligan was escorted out of the ground by a steward.
