Surprised no one has mentioned this yet but....For its 1000th issue this week, Entertainment Weekly has compiled lists of the "best" 100 tv shows, movies, albums, books, etc to come out in the last 25 years. That is a desperate, desperate list. You may well have taken 51-100, slotted it in over the top of the current top 50, and no one would have argued or noticed. As always with these things, contemporaneity rules. Come back in a few year's time for a more considered opinion.
