Huma bird

The Huma, also Homa, is a mythical bird of Iranian legends and fables.

The Huma bird is said to have both the male and female natures in one body, each nature having one wing and one leg.

Although there are many legends of the creature, common to all is that the bird is said never to alight on the ground, and instead to live its entire life flying invisibly high above the earth.

Herman Melville briefly alludes to the bird in "Moby-Dick". At the beginning of the chapter entitled "The Tail," the narrator speaks of "the bird that never alights.

Of course he is gay. He was always super ambiguous about it probably because he grew up in late 60’s/early 70’s England which back then being gay could mean a jailhouse offense. If he was just straight he would have just been a normal rock star probably bedding lots of women like typical rockstars do. But instead he was always real coy and always would brush off the subject when it was mentioned by reporters. It’s only been in recent years around the time of his autobiography through today that has seen him hinting at the fact he was more than likely gay all those years. It doesn’t matter anyways. I just feel he grew up in a time where there would have been a lot of pressure to hide the fact which is why I believe his whole I don’t f*** anyone style of his early fame was nothing more than a way to keep people distanced from the real truth that in fact he was gay.

I think that he looks in the bathroom mirror at himself naked, then he laughs and turns to walk away...
He’s humoursexual.
Like so many other men of his age and women.

I'm sorry, some of my remarks on this thread were truly appalling. I can only describe myself as a frustrated or repressed heterosexual and I'd always taken it for granted that Morrissey was gay. Then through reading this very forum I discover he may have had a sexual relationship with a woman and this slightly tarnished my idealised view of him. Even disappointed me.

I'm actually a huge fan of Morrissey (but not so much the Smiths anymore).

As for Morrissey's political opinions, I really couldn't care less. It seems to me that holding an unpopular opinion or expressing a controversial viewpoint is now considered worse than actual violent crime. To be honest, I really despise clichéd Leftists and Guardian readers who vilify Morrissey. His marginalisation by the scum mainstream media in this country (I'm from the UK) will only increase my estimation of Morrissey.

I just wish he was unambiguously gay in some respects. I wish I was as well.

And by the way I respect Morrissey's political opinions and anti-immigration stance. I just could not care less about the fabricated media furore. The mainstream media should be completely dismantled, particularly in the UK.

Some of my own opinions would actually be construed as quite controversial as well, particularly concerning WWII. However this certainly isn't the forum for that! Let's just say you'd be surprised who the original animal rights activists were...

I doubt I'd be surprised who you thought the first animal rights activists were - it wouldn't be accurate.

Well the actual first animal rights activists were Jains and I doubt you know anything about them (nothing which some furious googling won't solve).

The animal rights activists I was referring to were the NSDAP. You really ought to read about animal welfare laws in National Socialist Germany.

I know more about WWII than you and the Allies committed just as many war crimes as the Axis Powers. Actually a lot of the so-called 'crimes against humanity' committed by the NSDAP have been exaggerated if not outright fabricated including the big one! Oh yes, I'm a historical revisionist although you would call me a denier.

It doesn't matter, you're just a typical British thug or do-gooder who hates Germans. Why don't you educate yourself about the Allied carpet bombing of German towns and cities, far in excess of anything the Luftwaffe inflicted upon GB.

I've always assumed Morrissey was gay but upon hearing of his romantic involvement with a woman, I can longer identify with him.

Oh well, at least I've still got Kitchens of Distinction (much better than the Smiths), Derek Jarman and Lindsay Anderson. Real gay men and not imposters.

By the way I'm probably not gay, I just despise women because they are attracted to thugs and not quiet men such as myself.
The reason will be more obvious than being "quiet" as to why Women aren't attracted to you.
Be Gay.....the Women love it.

Eh? I thought they dropped bombs, not carpets. :(

He asked everybody to give a little something to his love life. He's humasexual and he has co-written lots of memorable songs. The KOD leader is openly gay. Kitchens of distinction had one really big tune with "The 3rd time, we opened the capsule" and some nice album tracks. I don't see the point.
'Drive That Fast' is their best single, should have been a massive crossover chart success in 1990 but they were just a little too articulate for the mainstream unfortunately.

Dude, I've never posted anything on this forum before & probably won't again but reading your posts got me laughing so hard I was crying! They were so great I started reading them out loud to my girlfriend. Now some might argue that not taking the kinds of things you're posting about seriously helps normalize/condone/excuse them but I doubt anyone on this earth has the patience or wherewithal or time to unpack all your issues; you are action-packed with them! But don't dwell on all that negative stuff. Instead, remember that you brought laughter into two strangers' lives not because you're funny but in spite of it.
