Charles hawtrey was a great actor but sadly the booze became too much of a friend,in his final carry on appearances he usual played a bit of a boozer because he would show up on set pissed.i always preferred Kenneth Williams who I thought was a much better actor.

Morrissey penned an Obituary to Charles, which was published in the NME. Strange place for an actors obituary, but there you go!

Forgot to mention that Hawtrey appears at the beginning of the November promo video and i ve always thought that this pic of Bowie was a likely inspiration behind the back cover of EDILS
