It’s not about politics

On November 7th in reference to Biden winning the election Radis Noir wrote "America now has a chance to get its dignity back", while nerak was posting dancing Kamala Harris gifs for most of the day. On the same day I asked "How many drone strikes are they going to green light?" and "I questioned why you'd post a Kamala dancing gif, knowing that the drone strike numbers are likely to remain high during the Biden/Harris years.".
On February 25th, just over five weeks into his Presidency, Biden approved airstrikes in Syria which reportedly killed 22 people. I haven't seen Radis or nerak say one word about it. I'm not surprised or anything, look at the quality of people I'm talking about here, but I just thought I'd point it out regardless.

Radis "my wife won't let me listen to Morrissey in the house" Noir is still talking about the 'insurrection' though, lickspittle that he is. American politicians getting escorted away unscathed apparently is more noteworthy than Syrians getting obliterated with US executive approval. He's completely obsequious to authority and loves to see family members turning each other in. I suppose in his loveless life this is one of the only ways he can get his kicks. He'd turn in his own grandmother if he could, if he found out she used the word "wog" one time back in 1964.

Of course, when I said that America has a chance to get its dignity back, I hadn't reckoned on the Republicans and their anti-democratic tendencies. Here's an interesting story:

You can read the original study here: https://siepr.stanford.edu/sites/default/files/publications/21-011.pdf

From the Guardian article:
Mail-in voting did not significantly increase turnout nor did it benefit Democrats in the 2020 election, a new study has found, undermining the talking point, advanced by Donald Trump and others, that mail-in ballots cost him the election.
What I was particularly interested to learn from this article is the following:
“Despite the extraordinary circumstances of the 2020 election, vote-by-mail’s effect on turnout and on partisan outcomes is very muted,” the researchers wrote. “Voter interest appears to be far more important in driving turnout.”

Those findings challenge the conventional wisdom that has emerged after Joe Biden’s victory in November. Republicans have repeatedly pointed to the decision to expand vote by mail – a choice driven largely by the Covid-19 pandemic – as a major reason Trump lost the election. They have filed a flood of bills in statehouses seeking to restrict voting, several of which take aim at mail-in voting specifically. In Georgia, for example, there are proposals to require voters to provide identification information as well as an excuse when they vote absentee, which would end the no-excuse policy Republicans adopted there in 2005.
Making voting harder is a standard right-wing tactic to exclude people at the margins who are less likely to vote Republican. Here in the UK, the Tories are introducing completely pointless ID requirements for voting, despite the fact that instances of electoral fraud in the UK are vanishingly rare. It seems the Republicans are hell-bent on restricting democracy as far as possible for no other reason than to garner electoral advantage. Now that's undignified.

Biden is a war monger, and as a figurehead certainly represents the interests of other interested persons and parties who have even more vested interests in profitable global concerns than he does. Anyone that voted this administration into office or who supported the voting in of this administration into office and who thought otherwise was/is a vacuous dilettante.

Well I don't think that many people voted this one in as were voting that previous mess out. But they should all be guillotined and I can't say you're wrong about Biden. What needs to happen is that people demand accountability from the administration we have now and work on replacing them ASAP.

excellent political analysis Fake C. everybody sucks and need to be replaced by some other suckees.:lbf:

Excellent news. Not only will "one of Britain's best connected supporting actors" split the right-wing vote, but he'll also make an even bigger tit of himself and finalise the ruination of his acting career.

He really did himself in by attacking Jodie Turner-Smith & not even having the guts to use her name, as if no one knows her. A casting director said she wouldn't cast Laurence Fox as Laurence Fox.

I missed that. Was it over the fact she's playing Anne Boleyn?
I may have misremembered but didn't he once audition for the part of the son of a character his father (James Fox) was playing, and failed it?

Yes - it was over Anne Boleyn & it wasn't just a moan which would get an 🙄 - he used it as part of his political marketing. Tweeting her picture & making bigoted, misleading comments about the production entirely because of her skin colour. Foul way to treat another actor.

Yes, he did fail to get the part!

He's got a nerve - he's not that talented, he's a notorious coke head & he does ok because of his family. Who are mortified.

Does he know Louis will quietly expose the grift?
The fat bloated alcoholic failed comedian has his tongue so far up this little dweeb's ass that he just runs here to keep us abreast of Nick Fuentes news regardless of the content, angle or our level of interest.
