Do you ever come to the Board just to see if a Certain Someone had posted anything?

You know what I mean. Lets say, for instance, you are fancying someone who posts things here, do you only come to see if THEY posted anything and then just leave? And find yourself totally happy when they did?

I like to come here and see people post things I fancy.

And then I leave

What's happiness?

Happiness is what some people fake into not having.

Re: Happiness!

Happiness is what you feel when you are happy. It is perfectly possible to experience bouts of happiness even at your most miserable hour.

Watching children hit each other, that makes me happy...

Happiness is also:

Viva Hate
Your Arsenal
soccer
songwriting
friends
and poetry...

"Ah, poetry!"

Happiness is watching old men talk/sing to themselves.

LMR...(oh you know the rest)

happiness is the past...happiness is the future... but never here when we really need...... so... Does it really exist????

That would depend on your own personal, subjective interpretation of 'happiness'.

But on a rather lighthearted, philosophically immature level...I think happiness exists. Happiness is seeing someone else miss the bus, happiness is when you get the last newspaper in the shop, happiness is not putting a dirty great hole in your brand new expensive tights the second you put them on whilst running late for a very important tights wearing occasion. Happiness is going home after a sh1t day and being greeted by your lovely little puddy cats, or in the words of someone somewhere...'Happiness is...an old woman falling off a donkey'.

Just don't be so bloody greedy, don't expect it to be a merry song and a jig and a three day hootnany with cake and icecream.

Oh yeah...Happiness is...A NEW BLUMMIN ALBUM!!! - With really yummy pictures on the cover to boot.

ha...You almost made me happy, Cinder. I'm a little surprised for your charming way to express your feelings. That sounds good in your lips.

unhappiness

unhappiness is not being able to be present to one's self in the present, the past or the future, or recollecting for what one should be hoping and hoping for what one should be recollecting. in other words, stuck in the middle of nowhere!

Re: unhappiness

do you think that happiness and pleasure are the same thing?

Happiness in slavery

> do you think that happiness and pleasure are the same thing?

No. I don't put them into the same category.

Pleasure is a responce to stimilus, (by whatever it may be that sparks it in you). Happiness on the other hand is something that stems from an internal state of contentment, of satisfaction. Enough pleasure might be able to make you think that you are expereincing happiness, but pleasure is inheriantly momentary, physical, a chemical reaction. Whereas happiness is a state of mind. A perspective, more of a constant, at least in it's time frame. That's not to say that I, or Morrissey, or anyone else that I know, for that matter, have found it.

Re: Happiness in slavery

save your spirit with some plesure....

I am stareing right now to that one I love (his picture). He is far away in the beach.... he needs me so much....poor of him !!!!! Actually, he is A DOG named Rabbit (cause he's got long ears). He has sad eyes, and I love him so much, cause he is totally honest and loyal... at least he gives me all the love I never had before

Pathetic, isn't it???? Well, I don't mind anyway
