Looking at the clips, Moz looked very relaxed and very much at ease last night, and in good humour.
Voice in great form too.
Well done, looks like it was a superb show. :thumb:

Looking forward to reading more post-concert reviews when people get back in circulation.
Thanks to those who've posted thus far.

It definitely was a superb show! I still have a smile on my face ....

Can someone explain why Morrissey's hair looks the way it does? Why is this happening? Why does it look like Joe Dirt?
That hair is the same as being photographed eating Santa Maria style tri tip. It's betrayal.
Why no fade? Is it a 90s white trash trip? It's kind of jacked up. It doesn't have to be this way.

Seventies inspired I think like some of the recent outfits. You’re gonna see more of this as the under cut and sharp haircuts have become to mainstream

I took the risk of travelling from Portugal and was rewarded very nicely. It was my best show ever (out of 3 only). So happy.
Very friendly intimate atmosphere. The band sounded fantastic and Moz was in a humorous happy mood. And that voice!
Highlights for me were I've changed my plea, Half a person, Wedding bell blues and all 3 songs of the new album. They sounded fantastic, can't wait for all the other new songs.
Also Jack the ripper worked really well as the closer.
Moz looked amazing, so relieved he didn't wear those awkward trousers from the Leeds concert.
I feel very sorry for everyone missing out the Paris gig. But he 's throwing his arms around you...

Reported sighting of Mr Chard pushing and kicking his was to the front again. What is it with this old folks home crawler? Oh, and G, come on, change the blazer and quit the nice gentle chap routine, we’ve seen you several times now.
Who needs 2 blazers, you can only wear 1 at a time you weirdo?

I have videos of Jim Jim Falls and Never Again Will I Be Twin from yesterday, will upload to YouTube later when I get home.

Sorry but I'll have to pass on that (JJF), or save it until later. I've banned myself having any access to the new album stuff until its release.

I can add to this most of the songs that were played before the videos started.

It started with some classical music, this was definitely one of the pieces that was played:

Norma Tanega: You're Dead
Kirsty MacColl: You Know It's You
New York Dolls: Vietnamese Baby
Hotlegs: Neanderthal Man
David Bowie: Karma Man
Lou Reed: I Wanna Be Black
Nathan Abshire: Shamrock
Patti Smith: Piss Factory
Ice Cube: Death (Yes, really...)
Ricky Wilde: I Am An Astronaut
Betty Davis: Shut Off The Lights

I might have missed one or two.

A big, huge, enormous shout-out to each and everyone who is providing us with excellent footage and pics of this and all the other gigs so that me and my kind who have no idea about handling all those technical devices can enjoy the show knowing there will be great pics and footage available later!

You are my HEROS!

Which just goes to show how hard it is to pick a setlist which suits everyone. It's all subjective, it's also impossible.
I generally don't complain about setlists but since I saw almost this exact show last year I am less motivated to go see it again this year. Based on the empty dates in the tour schedule right now I suspect there will be a show near me. It's hard to get excited for that.

Also, I'm not listing the songs I would like him to play, which I know is common for people to do.

I just wish it wasn't 75% the same from the last tour.

If he carried over 25% I would understand and there are so many to pick from that haven't been played in forever that I'm just disappointed.

I also am not saying someone who loves the setlist shouldn't love it or someone shouldn't got to the show. I know things change over the course of tours so maybe that will happen and I'll get a chance to see him with a setlist I really enjoy.

So your point is well taken and is fair. Hopefully you can look at my point and see that I am frustrated but I'm not sitting here saying he should be playing 24 of my personal favourites.

We all know that the master often ruins a shower opening with a lame Elvis cover or that it doesn't find a worthy end. Not so in Cologne. A tremendous start and a fog show at the end, in which he probably never found his way home. It has to be that way. Personally, I only found the second wave "California Sun" boring. Here are two songs from his 90s (Speedway!) and it would have been the best MOZ concert ever.

Ice Cube!

Moz should embrace hip-hop. It would love his bad attitude.
