The fact that I purposely asked for nothing in order to ensure my receipt of money, but instead I got clothes I'll never wear. I don't know how I came out of the gene pool I did.
I suppose it could have been worse... the new Mariah Carey CD, or a severed head, or the death of my cat, or, or...

Spending another Christmas alone?

Things could be worse.

I did spend the weekend with family and friends, and I got one phone call today.
My tofu turkey and vegan dressing turned out well, and my chocolate chip cake was delicious.

I have two weeks before I go back to the working world, and money burning a hole in my pocket.
