A thread for ukulele covers?

Damn, that was tuneless even for Joy Division. :lbf: (I love JD so don't be salty)

Hahaha... I like the weird feeling I get when Joy Division sounds like a tropical song.

I liked the "There is a Light" cover! I have a weird problem with the Misfits (I can't stand them! So I don't think I can enjoy the cover either).

This one is AMAZING... because the first thing that comes to the mind is "she is a bit weird"... and then the song is fantastic with her strange high pitched voice.

I've seen that one! So different from the Eno version. It's like a Betty Boop cartoon on LSD.

Hahahaah... Now I know who is the other weird Ukulele covers enthusiast of the forum!!!!! :guitar::p
The LSD reference made me think of:

I'm a fan of weird mashups too. Ukes & Mashups are kind of my guilty pleasure on youtube.

The king of ukulele is of course Jens Lekman from Sweden.

Ukulele is a socialist banjo!

LOL... I liked them. If you like Joy Division, you MUST watch the saddest (or weirdest) "last day at school" show (We had to sing "La Isla Bonita", but it was certainly NOT my choice... I should have gone to a different school!!!).

[Maybe there was a collective suicide at that school after the show, I am not sure]

Oh me oh my ! bit of a Luddite here, typing this by candlelight with my feet covered in yak butter so as to not wear the electric socks. What I mean is... I have no idea what your asking for. You may have to spin that roulette wheel one more time, sorry.

Mr. Ned Ludd simply said that I have to send a movie your way... but the board does not allow me to send messages unless the other person sends a message first. Spinning the Roulette twice is cheating.

So relax, I won't take your luddite powers away (My grandma was a luddite who used to burn down factories when she was a teen.... which was funny to listen to because it did not match with the old lady I knew).

No ukuleles here, new luddite:

Just hit that "send message" button... I need thy opinion on a quite short movie... and that's all.

(And Mr. Nigel Ayers liked the movie, so it CAN'T be so terrible).

? button where ?.. is it a tender button? sorry, think my candlelight is a failing dim.

O.K... it was simply about sending a short movie that I wanted you yo watch, but I do not like playing some games. So do as you wish and it's fine.

I have this weird tendency to believe too many weird things when I probably shouldn't.

Heat a borosilicate flask with the candle till you get a reduced air pressure inside of it and then close the flask.... and keep it on top of the candle, you may get something interesting.... or not.
