Re: So WAS Freddie Mercury openly gay?

Robert I don't think so - though it's funny on reflection to see how his sexuality was just not an issue. Even the name of his band 'Queen' passed most people by. I don't think so many 'rockers' would have bought Queen records if Freddie had been public about his sexuality & I don't think anyone actually heard his speaking voice broadcast 'til after he passed away.

The one I did not name. How wonderful...

1. Michael Stipe
2. George Michael (guilty pleasure!)
3. David Bowie
4. Peter Murphy

Okay, I know David Bowie and Peter Murphy are bisexual because Peter Murphy gave David Bowie a blowjob back in the day.

Rob Fuggin' Halford!!!

Oh, I don't know. But I like yr three; and since I'm limited to 3, I'd go with Marc Almond, Neil Tennant, and Mike Stipe, and I'm probably forgetting somebody.

Re: So WAS Freddie Mercury openly gay?

Freddie Mercury was "out" as a bisexual.
