    For any MMA fans

Don't think this has been posted before, but a nice little interesting fact I was recently informed about. Dan "The Outlaw" Hardy from Nottingham, England, a well known UFC fighter, is currently in a relationship with a lady named Elizabeth Holloway, who as chance would have it, happened to have...

This is England '86 features "Never Had No One Ever"

Just saw the ad for This is England 86, a television drama sequel to the film, which was excellent by the way. The film contained a cover of Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want over the closing scenes and now the ad for the series plays the end of Never Had No One Ever. Looks good :)...

"Please, please, please let me get what I want" and "Recuerdos de la Alhambra"

Does anyone else think this may have been an influence for Johnny's Mandolin outro? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLHR8zaEsA8&feature=related

Brief Morrissey mention in Irish Hot Press Magazine

Hot Press Magazine has "Years of Refusal" listed as no.8 in this year's best albums. Curiously, it lists the album as being issued under "Attack." They comment, "it's hard to see why Morrissey's resolutely business as usual Years of Refusal merits all the plaudits." Thoughts?

Lost (Spanish Version) by Sweet and Tender Hooligans

Hello all, as per the title does anybody have the sweet and tender hooligan's version of Lost performed in Spanish ripped, compressed, whatever from the Passions Just Like Mine documentary into an audio file? I've had that version stuck in my head since I've heard it, truly amazing. Thanks in...

    Morrissey/Smiths Documentaries

Hello all, just wondering what Smiths/Moz documentaries there are. I find them fascinating just watching the story of the music along with clips and interviews. Off the top of my head I can think of: -The South Bank Show -These things take time -The rise and fall of the smiths -The Smiths...

    Airport Question

Hello all, wondering if you could give your Irish cousins a heads up on this one. I'm not going to fly into Heathrow in order to save money, so I'm left with Stansted, Gatwick or Luton. Which would be the most suited in order to get to the Roundhouse gigs in January? not too sure where Camden is...

    The Smiths Irish Tours

Hello all, Was just wondering if anyone had any bootlegs from any of the Irish dates the Smiths played? I'm also particularly interested in finding a recorded interview that Moz apparently gave in Waterford when the Smiths played here on 11 November 1984. Quite fittingly, the venue they...

    Munich Air Disaster

Right this is a somewhat silly question but I'd like to know if anyone else noticed at the end of Munich Air Disaster, someone says something finishing with "you're funny", sounds like an Irish accent and it certainly doesn't sound like Moz. I searched and I don't think this has been brought up...
