Funny how things spark thoughts that make you look at other things. I also loved this song and the album, I went to see him in 06 and have pictures but can't remember where it was, I also joined this site in June of that year so I assume I went to a date on the May tour of that year.
Will do, saw the Bunnymen last weekend, they were fabulous, was a bit late getting there due to a free bar where we were staying and the place was rammed so had to watch from the back. Next up is Buzzcocks in a cave in Castleton!!

That’s a good deal, unfortunately I never saw that on ticketmaster, interestingly Morrissey seems to have been giving tickets away for his recent Quarry gigs ( which he then cancelled)
In your previous post you talked about battering someone, that’s pretty aggressive. You never answered the question about Morrissey, would you refer to him as a gay boy?
It was 5k each night at the Aviva Studios same capacity as the Hammersmith Apollo which he's sold out on the upcoming Best Of tour. The Manchester shows were the Orchestra gigs, so that probably helped shift a few tickets. Last time he played one of his own gigs in London it was at the Electric...
At the Manchester shows most people knew the new stuff and the biggest audience response was actually for one of the Electronic songs. He's had 4 top 10 albums now so some people are clearly into his solo stuff.
I don't think anyone would disagree with that, however he does seem to be becoming more popular as time goes on. As I said, I never thought he would be able to sell out the Hammersmith Apollo or play to 10k people in Manchester over 2 nights as he did in December.
May it's something to do with your aggressive tone and 1970's style descriptions of same sex relationships, it's like your using deflection tactics. Out of interest do you see Morrissey as a gayboy?
