Fine. If the latter is true, then what should the response be? How do large populations protect against a rapidly contagious disease with no vaccine? Historically, it's been quarantine, isolation, masks? If you know a better way, I'm sure epidemiologists would be interested in your ideas.

Yes, very odd question indeed...Morrissey was far better read as a teenager than most American college grads. One thing that always hits my ear when I hear it: "The headless pack/are back" rather than "is back". Though I totally forgive Cemetry Gates. It should be spelled like that.
