=== Begin message ===
  I have a friend who works for Artful Records and have it on good
  authority that Vini is set to team up with Morrisey again for a new
  album... under the name Another Noosebleed. Apparently they have
  already recorded a few tracks already and a release date near the end
  of the year looks likely as Vini has a few other pending gig
  commitments to fulfil first

  • I don't think this is true.

  • i'd like it to be true, i think the morrissey/boorer/whyte songwriting has run its course, how great Moz and Bernard Butler would be too.

  • I don't think Moz is the type to switch if he's comfortable with his players. Granted, Vini did some incredible things on Viva Hate, I think this is a rumour.

  • so this is why morrissey has his own label. he's going to release nothing but his solo and side projects.

    I scare dead people.
  • Vini is one of the best that Morrissey has worked with since Johnny Marr, but I doubt it's going to happen. That was awhile ago, and you'd think it would've been mentioned by one of them by now if it were true.

  • wouldnt be surprised if this turns out to be tru to some extent, perhaps Vini will guest on a couple of B-sides, the way Andy Rourke did a few years back.

    Vini is always saying nice things about Moz in interviews; unlike some of his Mozjesty's other former sidemen, there doesn't seem to be any animosity there; appaerently he even visits Vini whenever he's in Manchester

  • vini is an incredible talent and the earlier work with him stands up to Smiths material unlike most of the Boorer/Whyte work which is immature mostly.

  • Reilly only played guitar. He didn't compose any of the songs. He may be a technically better guitarist than Boorer and Whyte but can he write songs of the calibre of 'Swallow on my neck', 'Jack the Ripper', 'Now my heart is full', 'Trouble Loves Me' and 'Nobody loves us'?

  • Fuck man - you have a real problem. If you don't have anything good to say about the site - fuck off.
    I may listen to Morrissey's prose, but i don't mince my own words.

  • At least David extends the courtesy of warning all who visit when something is potentially garbage, a la the "Rumor" heading. He can't be responsible for the shoddy inputs. You want better content? Then find it already!
