  • is the aforementioned "somebody at goldenvoice" an actual goldenvoice staff member or merely one of the many just-as-clueless-we-are posters on their coachella message board?

  • "Is he free on Saturday, April 26th?"

Well, I would assume so! I mean, it's not like he has plans to tour the east coast, or to work on a proper CD sleeve for some upcoming disc. The only thing he and the boys have on their plate in April (to the best of my knowledge) is a one-off party gig in my basement!

  • The only bands confirmed so far(as of today) are Soundtrack Of Our Lives and Ben Kweller. The Radiohead rumor has been flying around the Radiohead BBS's days, for what reason, I don't know. They are also playing other Euro festivals this summer, and their new album is coming out soon, so I don't know if it's just people hoping or whether there may be some truth to it.

  • No way mates. Sorry to piss down on all your "fantacies" but, Moz will NOT be playin' @ Coachella. Met up with Johnny Marr durin his L.A. gigs and his record label said HE'S playing Coachella in April after his Tour of Japan. So we'll see.

We are currently speaking with Morrissey's people to see if he can appear at this year's Coachella festival in April. We will let you know in the future if the talks go through.

  • Along with all the wires here, 'cause clearly that's what's going on.

Hey, this is the kind of commotion that went on right before the tour was confirmed, so the show may very well go on!

  • They alreasy played together at Cochella. Moz headlined and played the same day Beck played with Becks guitarists at the time Johnny Marr. So, whats the big deal y'all ?

  • I heard Tammy on KROQ say that The Cure will be headlining this festival. I am hoping that Kraftwerk and They Might Be Giants will be there but that is just wishfull thinking. Or perhaps David Gahan or Martin Gore from Depeche Mode will perform there to support their upcoming solo albums. I spoke with Johnny Marr at the signing and he said they were going to play Coachella. What a nice guy Johnny Marr was. A much more pleasent experience than the Morrissey signing where I felt like I passed Morrissey on a roller coaster. It was very nice to shoot the shit with Johnny Marr for a few minutes.

  • moz should try to get on the lollapalooza tour this summer, either for the main stage or 2nd stage--this would be great exposure and also a chance for the fans on the east coast to see him.

  • that this is not going to happen. I was hoping too, but I know that Moz unfortunately will not be playing here. I can't go into any details why right now, but I don't want everyone to get their hopes up for this. Just keep your fingers crossed for an album to be released soon, but the chance of any live gigs in the near future looks quite slim.......
