Well, L.A. and North America are two different worlds. Please can we have a poll more specific than North America.

Stockton CA. is a lovely place to live, if you happen to be a bedridden deaf mute. Stockton is hardly Las Vegas, but I'm sure there will be something here to amuse you (and I'm thinking specifically about my birkenstock shoe collection).

I, like a few others was not aware that L.A. had separated from the U.S. and North America in general. Has the U.K. always been a continent?
I haven't seen these geography changing subjects in the news?....Oh well, I suppose the "chaos" of WoodstockExchange '99 was more important.

Don't be so hard on this poll - there's no way that EVERY part of the world can be represented. I mean, how specific can you get? Where would David have to draw the line?

uh, southern ca. is in north america.

Well, I live in California but I live in orange county it's too boring. I'm pretty sure I'm the only 14 year old Morrissey/Smith fan (the only Morrissey fan that was about my age was that girl in the KROQ single after "Sing Your Life") anyway, I might be wasting space here, Goodnight and Thank you

Ok, well.. I live in a small, tidy city called Fredericton. Here, you can smoke dope and be homeless, and the government turns a blind eye! You see, Fredericton's too pristine to have such problems! lol It's in the province of New Brunswick (CANADA)!!! There isn't much to do, unless you like looking at an old lighthouse, that doesn't work anymore! The scenery is pretty for a few hours, but the novelty wears out rapidly! I shouldn't be so harsh.. but damn, our radio and music store selection is criminal!! LOL

I was wondering if the idea for this poll is because I had mentioned on a post that Morrissey never played in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Not that I want to take credit or anything like that.

I live 38 miles west of Pittsburgh and I guess I've came to the conclusion that nobody has heard of The Smiths or Morrissey in western PA. let alone listen to them. I just think that is sad.

is israel europe or asia? i put it on europe..wishful thinking. i dunno if there are other fans from israel on morrissey solo, but israelies has a relatively good taste in music; if morrissey would come there would be a crowd of 5-10,000 people, i think. and the play smiths quite often here. shalom!

I was surprised to read two mentions of stockton, Ca. I believe the waterslides mentioned must have been the Manteca waterslides. That is all we have here that anyone knows of. The San Juaquin valley is not the greatest, but it could be worse. Atleast we have a few Morrissey fans. I'm sure we have many many more camaro's.

I think the format of the poll was just fine.I only hope that Moz might look at it himself and do a North American tour again. I went to five of the shows for the last tour (buffalo, cleveland, toronto,New York, Morteal)and with the exeption of the New york show attendance was dissapointing. I am 24 and would like to here from any other fans.

Hello to all the Moz fans around the world! I don't think there's any other Morrissey/Smiths fans where I live. I know some near Baltimore, Philli, and Lancaster, but you might as well say that's near where I reside anyhow. Afterall, who has ever heard of New Freedom, Pennsylvania? Not many I suspect. A lot of my friends say they didn't even know who Morrissey was before they met me. Tragic...

'twas but a gentle nudging, noam, and i apologize for any ruffled feathers!
it is interesting that the sports events are held with european nations, and the culture is euro-centric. i never knew that. so i guess you could say europe, not geographically but culturally. but in that case i could say i live in hell!

I think that Los Angeles has the most Morrissey fans because when ever he comes to town he sells out, I mean once they announce it on KROQ or Y107 that he's in town BAMM there sold out. But remember "We look for Los Angeles for the language we use, London is dead, London is dead"-glamorus glue

what part of Pittsburgh do you 2 live in? Right in the city? I mean there probably are alot of people who listen to Morrissey or The Smiths here it's just that I live 38 miles from the city and I can't just go into the city and just start asking people if they listen to Morrissey. The only time I ever go into the city is for Penguin hockey games. I know that's not an ideal place to meet Moz fans. oh well.

I bought a book about Morrissey and a home video and I also bought a Cure t-shirt. The store is called something like "Eidz."

I hope that Morrissey doesn't see this poll and think that it isn't worth touring Australia! Well, that is if he ever tours anywhere again ;-)
There are LOTS of us Morrissey-type people here.
Really...there are :-)

Bit disappointed Ireland wasn't down in the listing!
With the amount of direct Irish parental ancestry in the Smiths, you could say that they are as much an Irish band as they are a British band! And you'd expect the band's place of origin to have a say!

I VERY much hope Ireland wasn't supposed to be included as part of UK!

You should give the option of the country. Because I'm Mexican but by selecting North America, Europeans think about the U.S.

Most of my friends hate Morrissey. They have an obvious American/macho bias towards him. They're too uptight and brain-dead to ever appreciate a brilliant song like "Sunny" or "The Boy With the Thorn in His Side". I believe that Morrissey and Edwyn Collins (my two favorites) are the antithesis of today's pop music, especially in the U.S.
