Nah, I think this place is certainly a lot lower on the list than 10-20 years ago as places to look for Moz-opinions. Instagram and Twitter certainly are much likelier places to find relative Moz-opinions/postings these days. A lot from those sources has also been used on Central by Sam recently.

Spectator USA: "Human after all" by John Waters (August 5, 2020)

The loon most certainly missed his vocation as a Nazi-propagandist.

It’s all about principles and not surrendering to ‘anything cashable’. Just like it always was.

Michael Imperioli (Christopher from The Sopranos) waxes lyrical about The Smiths Rubber Ring and Morrissey

This is wonderful. Especially as it is on The Quietus, second only to The Guardian in the unashamedly Moz-bashing-department.

Music News / Fiona Dodwell: "The unforgiving storyteller: Morrissey's lyrics remain as vital today as ever" (July 31, 2020)

Second only to Dylan as a lyricist. As someone once said on the BBC. Great article once again, Fiona!

Morrissey Central "THE WORLD IS APPARENTLY LISTENING …" (July 29, 2020)

He did TOTP with this song I think. In general he certainly played the game more than ever before or since in 2004, and was there ever an opportunity to have a UK number 1-single it was in that year.

Morrissey Central "THE WORLD IS APPARENTLY LISTENING …" (July 29, 2020)

Perhaps, but I don’t mean in terms of first week-sales. More in terms of radio airplay and general appeal, it could or should have sold Moz to the masses. It is quite telling that 16 years on if you compare First of the Gang to Die to most UK number 1’s from 2004, it clearly outperforms them, a...

I still absolutely love it. His ultimate Summer-song. In hindsight it should have been the first single and should have been an international smash.

Yes, Suedehead has 54 Million and Sunday 40 Million. A matter of time and First of the Gang will catch up with Sunday.

Morrissey Central "THE WORLD IS APPARENTLY LISTENING …" (July 29, 2020)

This song continues to grow in Morrissey’s discography. 37,5 million listeners on Spotify, his third best loved song. Amazing. Good to see it gets its fair share of covers too.
