I discovered through Alain Whyte that Moz plans to release 'First of the Gang to Die' as the very first single from the new album. the album is called 'Ludus Lumini', a tip of the hat to Linder Sterling and her 80's band!

Update: 06/27 05:27 GMT: The last item from "Olly Storey" is likely a hoax as I recently received another submission (under a different name) that is a more obvious hoax.

The Punt & Dennis comedy radio show "It's been a bad week" yesterday, (19th June), featured a parody of Harry Potter as Morrissey singing a version of what was supposed to be 'Heaven knows I'm miserable now'. There were some lines about being kept under the stairs and such like. It was introduced by saying that J.K Rowling is a fan of the Smiths and Morrissey and the influence is plain to hear from the Smiths records.

It’s Been A Bad Week: Hosted by Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis every Thursday on BBC Radio 2 at 22.30pm and repeated on Saturdays (next 21st)at 13.30pm .....but not broadcast on the internet so far as I know.
