The band were speaking at Austin City Limits Fest and admitted that supporting the ex-Oasis guitarist’s High Flying Birds on tour was an enjoyable experience. However, the band didn’t appear to have quite the same level of appreciation for Morrissey.
Speaking about Gallagher, Mona said: “From his tour manager down to the drivers, they are the most professional, respectful people we’ve ever been around. He doesn’t go out of his way to be overly friendly, but he’s not a d-ck. He’s not Morrissey.”

Waterstones predicts the Smiths frontman's forthcoming Autobiography will be a top seller at Christmas
Excerpt:
Although the book has been a long time coming, a representative for Waterstones, Jon Howells, predicts that the memoir will be a success this Christmas: "He's a contrary, controversial character, and his is arguably the most interesting untold story yet to emerge from the 80s generation of British music heroes. The announcement may have not been as smooth as the publisher would have hoped, but ultimately fans just want to read it, and we expect Autobiography to be one of this Christmas's top sellers at Waterstones."
I make zines of various goths and musicians eating things. I know. It's kind of ridiculous but the latest one features Morrissey and each page is a Smiths pun.

Their songs struck a chord with an entire generation, and they were strongly aware of their roots, which is evident in Steven Morrissey's tune Irish Blood English Heart.
