Cosmopolitan was my friend Jon's second Morrissey show. He now owns a few albums but didn't then. Satellite of Love was the only song he knew that night and it blew his mind a little bit. He left after the song because he was so wasted and the night couldn't get any better. Of course he didn't TELL ME THIS until I looked for him for an hour afterward and found him back at the room, but it's funny to think back on that. The next day I smashed into another car on the way to the Shrine and broke my radiator and almost blew up my car, worst show ever. From best show to worst show in 24 hours.
The giac girls posted two notes they received from Morrissey back from their 2008 tour! Now to work on bringing them back on the road with Morrissey in 2014!
#tbt We did two tours with Morrissey and after each one he gave us a nice thank you card. It was our first big tour and taught us a lot about the road, people and ourselves. Morrissey was pretty amazing to us too. Forever grateful to him for the opportunity
Re: Literary hatchet-job of the year - and the winner is...
In the Gill article, he sounds embittered to the point where his physical dislike is almost tangible.
A deserved winner.
Nice, short but sweet response to it too.
Thank you.

FWD
