Jones also took a swipe at Morrissey before the track 'The Way You Are'.

"I want to dedicate this next song to Morrissey who has a glass tattoed on the side of his head," he joked before drummer Robert Gregory threw a plastic pint at his head and the singer added: "That's it, I'm leaving the stage, I've got a broken fingernail."

Jones' dig came after Morrissey walked offstage last weekend after a member of the audience threw a pint at his head after two songs.

    BabyBird were a mediocre Brit-Pop band from the mid 90s.
    They had one big hit, the nauseating "You're Gorgeous", before dissapearing like a turd down the toilet bowl.

    Jones' main claim to fame was that he apparently had written hundreds of songs. As the stuff he did release was dire, we can ony thank god the rest never saw the light of day.

  • just cause he made a lil joke about st. morrissey (who im a big fan of) doesntmean he's shit. he's written alot of melodic, cleverly written tunes (remind you of anyone?)

  • Sounds like he's inviting everyone in his audiences (however sparsely populated these days) to throw bottles at his head--so he can prove how much more a "man" he is than Morrissey.

  • Mr Depp your never be in same league as Mr Morrissey,so instead of perfprming iam a tough guy (not),concentrate on what you create..Yes if you drive to Liverpool for one song big piss off.Still find it kinda admirable he resisted the demands of thousands to come back..Why should he ,said does not perform so maybe it spoiled his head for concert..
