  • It's a shame to see pitchfork give Moz such a hard time this go round. They've been surprisingly supportive of his post-2000 material (Everything "Quarry" onward has gotten an 8.0 or above), but they certainly don't seem to like "swords" too much.

I haven't given it a full listen yet, so I can't properly judge "swords" but, I mean, it IS a B-sides collection so my hopes aren't extraordinarily high anyway. Give him a break, pitch.

all, 2 discs, with each 2 sides 4/5 songs and live Warsaw tracks

    but it's just 2 discs, 18 b-sides plus Warsaw
    [good sound] for 28 euro

I feel I got cheaten, no Nijmegen, No label.
Morrissey time has come to throw the towel with grace, he's an icon/legend, what more to do?
Musicly He must be aware He just use other lyrics
but the music is behind and copy of earlier work

take at least 2 years rest.

  • I enjoyed the DIS article, but one thing chapped me...

Where in "Bengali in platforms" does Morrissey affect a "horrible imitation of an Asian accent?"

    Me no rikey!

  • Morrissey is a brilliant writer and vocalist. These sickening critics only strike poses and attempt to be insightful, all the while deeply regretting what massive mewling failures they are. Since the breakup of the Smiths, Morrissey has received very few fair reviews. How can he when most reviewers are in a desperate contest to appear more "hip and relevant" than their competition? Journalists who lie, indeed.
