Baltimore Morrissey show a costume contest?
When Rams Head re-released tickets for the Morrissey show in Baltimore on Halloween, in italics under the picture of Moz on the main page was *costume contest* but the girl at the box office knew nothing of it and I can't find any info on it from their site now. Does anyone have any information on this?

Poor ticket sales in Santa Barbara?
A friend of mine just bought a general admission ticket for the Santa Barbara Bowl. I did my own research and not only are there GA tickets available, but there are tickets open in all sections. It also seemed that whatever section I looked at, the front rows were available for each section.

Quote from Morrissey's Publicity Firm in promotional email:

"These shows will be the last Morrissey will do for the foreseeable future. With that in mind, all of the venues have been specifically chosen, as they are small and intimate where Morrissey can see the eyes of everyone in the audience and those in attendance can be in the thick of it.”

  • Well Boston is starting to fill up a bit. But there are still plenty of seats available. Just looked for 2 tickets, "best available", and it gave the next-to-last row in the center of the orchestra. Looking for a bargain? I searched among the cheapest $39 seats and the front row of the balcony (on the right side) came up. Personally I think front row balcony is better than almost last row down below.

Good luck Bostonians - See you there!

  • I'm a student at UCSB. If there are still tickets available for Moz's concert at the Bowl it's only because we don't start school until the 27th and a lot of us aren't back in town yet. UCSB luvs Morrissey and we will all be out in full force!

  • I noticed that for all 5 night standing tickets are still available - not to mention balcony seats...
I hope at least 1 or 2 nights will sell out!

  • I spoke with someone from Ramshead last week who said they'd soon be sending out an email about it.

  • is because there are already 15 shows in the state of California!!!(to add to that there is also TJ and Vegas) This is the third leg of the tour and he's sucked the market dry. Last leg of tour I was able to secure tickets for less than face value for shows that were "sold out". I can just imagine the deals that will be out there this time. Vegas show is this Friday and the GA is barely sold out.

  • i guess it just shows how many "dedicated" fans he actually has, because believe me the real fans bought their tix the day they went on sale.

  • Moz was pushing the boat out a bit having all these California shows for sure, but so what! More elbow for us I say.

Must admit after shelling out for TJ, Hollywood and Vegas I wasnt planning a trip to SB but couldnt resist after clicking on ticketmofo and finding GA down the front there. If people from LA dont want to come and have better things to do on a Saturday night than to drive up the coast a bit, well that their loss.

I have spent my whole life in ruin's, because of people who are nice.
  • What about his beloved Scandinavia? If these shows are his last in a foreseeable future, why won´t he come for a visit? He loves playing especially in Scandinavia, he said he had some great tour offers in "my beloved Scandinavia" in Questions and Answers on True To You.
