For sale some real Moz/Smiths history: two original prints signed by photographer Derek ridgers - (1)An early MORRISSEY photo. (2)THAT famous skinhead girls photo - You may have seen a copy of the fax sent by Morrissey to Derek Ridgers requesting a copy of the skinheads photo...

“A vintage, silver gelatine print of Morrissey. It was taken in 1984 in a cave under some railway lines in Lambeth, London. The photographer was well known editorial portrait photographer Derek Ridgers. It was commissioned by the British music magazine New Musical Express.

“An original, silver gelatine print of two skinhead girls, taken during the Spring bank holiday in Brighton, England in 1979. It's quite an infamous image because it was later used by Morrissey as a backdrop on his 1992 tour. It was also used as the image for the tour programme's front cover, tour t-shirts and tour passes.”

“They would make an excellent acquisition for any Morrissey fan. No prints of these particular images have ever been sold before, and the recipient can rest assured that they will, at this point, be the only Morrissey fan in the world to own a copy.”
