If Moz did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him.

  • thank goodness morrissey didn't say "take people from CANADA, just spare me"

we would be getting more backlash.

well atleast there's been no protest over lyrics from pittsburg fans. being in the USA, they aren't sensitive nationalists (um..city-ists? Metropolitanists?)

  • i'm from pittsburgh and i don't really appreciate the lyric or the fact that he's canceled on us at the last minute the last two times he was supposed to play here.

but i'm certainly not going to boycott him.
the smiths and morrissey mean too much to me to do that. he may never play another show in pittsburgh but that's okay because columbus, cleveland, baltimore, and d.c. are all close by.

  • I'm from Pittsburgh, too. Last time in 2000, Moz literally fell ill prior to the Palumbo Center performance. Disappointing, but understandable.

As for the 1991 Kill Uncle tour, he bailed once he found out that the IC Light Amphitheater was right next to the traintracks. Yes, a bit diva-ish, but I would still welcome him back.

I also find some humor in the new mention of Pittsburgh. Not peeved at all.

In any case, he may come by, yet.
