the man is a great comic book illustrator and if you enjoy "non-superhero" comics, than his funnybooks are fer you!
I suggest you check out his Vertigo/DC Comics work (the same publisher as Sandman), which includes The Invisables (written by Grant Morrison), which I think was his best work.
if you don't read comics....well, you should.
