  • This entire site, our entire lives our fake.

Fictional book, after fictional book, about meeting Morrissey, getting the Smiths back together, etc.

Fictional movies about Morrissey, one after the other after another.

Endless "what if" debates on the Message Board.

Fake autographs being sold on the Merchandise Board.

Morrissey spotted here, Morrissey seen there...

    Morrissey mentioned on/in __________________.

Because, you see, we're thrice removed from the man himself, from the music. Someone who knows more about Plato than I do could fill you in.

6 degrees of seperation and 18th pale decendants running around everywhere.

Well, I must go check the Message Board now to see people's response to my latest hypothetical query.

    Bye!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

  • Bit odd looking for a singer, but not a bad voice.

He bumps into the Moz-a-like, who drops his takeout.

  • No, no. You have it wrong. Magnus is fantastically beautiful. I've adored him for years, I'll adore him forever.

And that VOICE. He rivals Andy Williams...*swoons*

I actually find it to be something quite different. While others spend their days obsessing and fawning over the wholesale and homogenized, I seek out the truly stunning. Magnus is a beautiful male, complete with an amazing voice and a personality worth adoring.

I didn't say anything about women, save your whinging rant for someone else. And yes, there is so a standard of men which women are told to follow, your average woman would not find Magnus attractive--I do. Yet you say I am buying into what "THEY sell us"? Magnus wasn't sold to me, anyway. Brad Pitt, Ben Affleck, Ashton Kutcher, etc., are "sold", and I don't find them the least bit attractive.

No, I don't hold women to the same standards the average person around here may, don't start screaming about double standards and your little theories to others unless you know where their opinions on the matter lie. You're accusing the wrong person, or at least making the wrong accusation.

Someone who looks more natural and real is far more attractive than something marketed as "beautiful" but holding no form of real beauty at all. There's media beauty, and there's real beauty. The real is what matters as far as I'm concerned. That goes for men and women.
