Craig Kilborn on Howard Stern - September 4, 2003

Yesterday- Craig Kilborn was a guest on the Howard Stern show. One of Morrissey’s biggest fans managed to slip in Morrissey’s name-with no response from anybody at the show

Craig had mettioned he enjoy's sipping cocktail’s at his Spanish style home in the LA hills. When given a hard time from Howard Stern about dinking alone, and at home...Craig replied,“I listen to music… I put on some Morrissey.”

That's all I caught… there might have been a mention about Dido too-but skrew her!

Craig Kilborn mentioned Morrissey on the Howard Stern radio show (9/3/03). They were discussing the VMA's and Howard Stern asked Kilborn what he was listening to. Kilborn sighed and reluctantly said jazz. He was slow to mention this because he said he had Morrissey and someone else on and they let him know what they thought of jazz music. I believe Morrissey said "it was going nowhere."

Meat Is Murder used on BBC1 Country File programme
'Country File' is a half hour programme shown on a Sunday morning on BBC 1 in the UK. It focuses on issues affecting the countryside, including farming and agriculture, rural industy, protecting habitats and tourism. This weekend's edition had a feature on the threat to our indigenous fauna posed by the fast-growing Japanese Knotweed, an unwelcome import that has spread to the wild. During this feature, the beginning of "Meat is Murder" was played a few times in the background, presumably for its dramatic effect.

  • Howard stern on a political agenda has been made a bonafide news show so it can be exempt from giving free air play for 1 political party--all this because he wants Arnold to win.

Does Howie know who Morrissey is? And why are morrissey fans listening to Stern anyway?

Howie stole The Ramones' mulleted Moptops.

The insipid world of media in the USA.
How does Morrissey do it? BBc America? Satellite? I read about his new life in Word....
