The following article appeared in the Manchester Evening News Saturday 30th August. It is still littered with mistakes about album covers and dates..... but at least the club is saved!

  • Mistakes or not, this was a fascinating article.

This building is more important to me than The Taj Mahal, Westminster Abby, The Leaning Tower of Pisa, The Smiths' Arms (Godmanstone, Dorset), The Empire State, Bodleian Library, The Eiffel Tower, & The Castle in Edinburgh, combined.

I am so happy it is saved!

  • Does anyone know where can see photos of the interior? I've been looking for ages.

Glad to hear it has protection from demolition. I was born & raised in Los Angeles and that city is out to destroy it's own past as quickly as it can.
