Once again thanks to lutewhine for encoding the MPEGs of this documentary originally aired on Channel 4 in the UK. All 4 parts are now available for download. [part 4 pulled due to the server being overwhelmed. It should be available soon]

Right-click the link and choose "save target" (or equivalent) to save the file to your local hard disk.
  • "The Importance of Being Morrissey", Part 3 of 4 full size (89.1MB, 11:56 320x240 MPEG format) [server overloaded, link removed]
  • Small size part 3 of 4 (13.5MB, 220x140 MPEG format) [server overloaded, link removed]
---
BitTorrent links:The MPEG files may be pulled from the site soon due to over-bandwidth charges. Please help out by installing BitTorrent and leaving your download windows open.

  • It's a f***ing dvd-r or dvd+r and not a factory pressed dvd. On most dvd players his format don't work.

    Williams,
  • I believe that some people (myself included) cannot download the files during the weekend, so I'd ask (if possible) that the files (at least part 3 and part 4) are kept till Monday.

I'd be happy to download from other sources, but the firewall won't let m in Kazaa and such :(
Of course, if the files should be removed in the meanwhile that will be ok all the same :)

    Thanks :)

How can his friends tolerate it? Great writer, great singer... exhausting to be around.
Lets hope part 4 surprises and he loosens up on the narcissism.

  • I was watching the Sopranos tonight on HBO (great show by the way) and I was struck by the resemblance of the character 'Paulie' to Morrissey.

This 'Paulie' is sort of older and a little chunkier, but I think when Morrissey ages a little more, he'll look just like this chap.

  • I have been a fan of Moz for what seems to be several (ha) decades now. I know lots of you have heard the rabble over and again from fans across the globe hailing Stephen as a GOD and all, but I'm just here to say that it has been a great pleasure to see the combined efforts of people around EARTH to get this documentary out to the people over the internet. The BitTorrent solution WORKS!

Unlike most docs I've seen of stars and such, this was one packed with insight and real depth. You really get a closer look at how Morrissey really is. I can go on and on...

Morrissey appeared to be captured this time by the press in a way that didn't make him look petty or obscure like the others I had seen in the past. Some of his friends came up to bat for him this time, in a HUGE way. Hopefully this documentary will further his career a bit. Moz deserves success more than anybody in musical history. Morrissey - There is no equal.

    Long live morrissey-solo.com - *peace*

  • I received my dvd in the mail today and it played beautifully on my player and allowed me to lounge on my couch and watch it on my large screen tv instead of my small computer monitor. It was $20 well spent as I have indeed spent more on lesser quality bootlegs of bands that I like (not just Morrissey, you know). You're taking a lot of flak and I thought I would give the written equvialent of a nod and a wink from a satisfied customer.

    bye bye from Detroit.

  • This person is highly obnoxious and rude. Please don't send him/her your money!

I had send him/her an email simply asking about the quality of the disc and if I would be able to play it on my DVD player, etc. I wanted to know how he/she transferred the video, etc.

This is the response I got:

"In a message dated 6/14/2003 3:33:07 PM Eastern Daylight Time, [email protected] writes:

no, i can't share such secrets unfortunately, is $20 so much to you, i'll
email you a dollar for a place to stay for the night"

After I told him/her that I was going to post the obnoxious emails here, I got this email today:

"In a message dated 6/16/2003 6:32:04 AM Eastern Daylight Time, [email protected] writes:

hadnt you heard that i won the fucking lottery 3 years ago
ive allready made a bundle from this dvd allready so do your best
    midget fucker"

Do you really want to send this idiot your money? Let's look elsewhere.
