I heard from a friend who owns several music venues in and around London that someone was making enquiries to book gigs in the summer for a band that consisted of Alain Whyte, Gary Day and Spike Smith. If anyone knows anything more please post some news, it would be great to see them playing together!

I have heard rumours to this affect also. UK and possibly US gigs. I also hear that they have recorded some tracks already..Which I would be very anxious to hear!

  • I feel sorry for Boz & friends - Spike Smith is probably the worst drummer there is. His partecipation on the Moz tour some years ago was absolutely a disaster.

  • He wrote my very favorite Morrissey song "The Edges Are No Longer Parallel" and he *does* have a wonderful voice. *Everything* I've heard of his was top-notch, actually. I have no doubts about his ability to make incredible music.

We're ready for him to step out of the shadows and take the spotlight for himself. I hope he puts together a more solid band to back him. There are so many talented and passionate musicians to choose from to share his musical vision and journey!

    Looking forward to hearing more,
