According to nme.com several bands (nobody hugely famous) have provided covers of Smiths tracks as part of a BBC radio 6 celebration (running from May 12-16) to mark the 20th anniversary of the release of "Hand in Glove".

The station will also feature a broadcast from the Salford Lads Club (hope they don't get mugged!) and an interview with yes, you've guessed it, Mike Joyce.

There's got to be some suprises surely! BBC have an Aladdins cave of rare Smith sessions.
Surely we're gonna get the Rank concert broadcasted - if anyone knows anything speak now!
