Moz gets name check on top UK TV show

Not a very interesting story but it got me excited. The final episode of top UK drama/comedy show Cold Feet went out on a high last Sunday evening (Mar. 16) with 2 name checks for The Smiths and one for Morrissey. Reminiscing over old photographs the two leading characters were discussing which of the two liked the Smiths the most and one was heard to say 'Morrissey was cool'.

Like I say, not very interesting but it made my day.

    Yeah, we were sitting watching this as well, and were delighted, amazed, awe-struck, flabbergasted, surprised, heartened, drunk with happiness (or the vodka & dandelion & burdock) that HRH Morrissey was mentioned..not once but twice or thrice.

    The best news story of 2003...YAY!!!

    Yes, the girl knows, the girl should have a microphone... ;-)

    The waving of fists in the air, the shouts of joy and laughter as those *special* words were mentioned - "The Smiths" and "Morrissey" !!!. With the vodka & dandelion & burdock flowing freely, and happy smiling faces all round, it made for a perfect end to a perfect weekend.

    "Whilest the feet may have been cold, the hearts were warm" :-)
