I Am Jake's Inflamed Sense Of Rejection sends a short preview from the Salt Lake City Weekly (Aug. 22):
Morrissey Morrissey has a brand-new song: "The World is Full of Crashing Bores." Must ... resist ... snarky ... comment. However, there's no new album for Moz to pimp on this recently launched American tour that's already getting rave reviews from, natch, the highly entertaining Morrissey websites. "Morrissey walked onstage wearing a light blue ruffled shirt, a brown cardigan and dark gray dress pants," goes a Yuma, Ariz., show review. "I don't really understand why Morrissey wore a cardigan. It was a very Mr. Rogers look. Won't you be my neighbor?" Ha! Tuesday, Aug. 27 @ Union Ballroom, University of Utah, 7 p.m. Tickets: 493-7851 and www.24tix.com.
