Denver, CO - Morrissey after party (Aug. 30, Lipgloss)

On the evening of August 30th Morrissey will be playing at the Fillmore in Denver. After the show all 21 and over fans are invited to Lipgloss @ 60 South Broadway for a night of dancing your legs to the knees.

The evening's music will consist of Britpop /Glam /Indie /Soul and Rock.

Cover is 5 dollars after 10 pm, and you must have a valid 21+ Id to enter.

Directions from the Fillmore are...

Take Colfax West to Broadway. Left on Broadway. 60 South is located about 1.5 miles on the left hand side. The biggest landmark is a Key Bank on the right hand side of the road from the club. Also a yellow sanwich board sighn is in front of the club.

And to anyone who shows, please think of some nice rarities you'd like to hear. We'd love to play em.

  • For all people who are travelling to Denver for the show, I recommend this small, but usually filled club. All 3 Dj's are Morrissey friendly, and have done a good job of promoting good, new, alternative music. Worth the 5$ if you feel like being around like-minded people after the show.

  • I'm flying in from Montreal to see the show and staying 'til Saturday. Is the lipgloss 30-something friendly? Damn...it seems like just yesterday I was dancing to "Accept Yourself" in the basement of my parent's house.

  • under 21, you have a week or so to get a fake i.d. Don't be lazy, just get off the computer for a minute and head to the local fake i.d. maker(every town has got at least one). you will be thankful you did.
    p.s. check near a social security office, immigration office or dmv if you do not know where to find one of these 'business' man/woman.
