I'm not sure if anyone else has sent this along but, there is a fine new band out of New York City called Ours whose debut CD I picked up the other day. I noticed in the liner notes that Boz Boorer plays guitar on several tracks, however, his last name does happen to be spelled incorrectly (Borrer). Also, Steve Lillywhite produced the album, so a couple of Morrissey connections with Ours. All in all, the disc is excellent, reminding me a lot of Muse & the lead singer seems to be the 2nd coming of Jeff Buckley. Check it out if you get a chance.

  • I did infact notice Boz Boorer credited for a few tracks on this album. Although I was unsure because of the misspelling. As far as the quality of this new band, they are awesome. Every track is very well written. The lyrics are beautiful and the music is simply great! When I first listened to it, I thought he sounded alot like Bono of U2. I would definately recommend this to a friend if I had one. "I'm a Monster" is my favorite track. You guys should definately check this one out.

  • no it's "great" now another band trying to rip off Radiohead's signature rock sound. sorry, but the voice melodies are so very similar, that it makes me wonder if that band can make up something ORIGINAL!!!!
